A product video without a shoot
Short vertical video is where shoppers find products now, but most stores have product photos, not footage. Filming each product takes a day you do not have, and an editing app still wants you to cut every video by hand.
This tool starts from what your store already has. Your product page holds the name, the price, the sale price and the photos. The tool puts them into a designed 15-second video with motion, type and music, and you download a real MP4.
What the video shows
- Your photos, three ways. Each photo slot uses its own framing, so one good photo still carries the whole video.
- The price, readable on a phone. When the product is on sale, the old price appears crossed out. When it is not, the video shows one clean price.
- Your store at the end. The last scene shows your store name and address, so a viewer knows where to buy.
- Prices in your format. The tool uses your store’s own currency format, for example $1,299.00, €1.299,00 or ¥12,800.
How to make a Shopify product video

Tips for a better video
- Pick three photos that show different sides of the product: the front, a detail and the product in use. Use the photo slots to change the order.
- Keep the product name short. Two or three lines read well on a phone, and a name like “Linen Overshirt” beats the full catalog title with size and colour.
- Show a sale only when it is real. The old price appears only when your store has a compare-at price that is higher than the price.
- Put the address people can type. Your own domain is easier to remember than a myshopify.com address.
Where to post it
- Reels, TikTok and Shorts. The video is already 9:16 and 15 seconds, so it uploads without a crop.
- Stories. Add a link sticker to the product page on top of the last scene.
- The product page. Upload the MP4 to the product’s media in your store admin, next to the photos.
- Ads. Use it as a vertical ad to test a product before you pay for a shoot.
What is free, and what an account adds

Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no email and no credit card. The video carries a small 'Made with renderly.video' credit on the last frame, which is how the tool pays for itself. Nothing covers your product. Free renders have a daily limit. When the limit is reached, you can sign up free and render with the 5 credits every new account gets.
Which links work?
The address of one product page from a Shopify store, for example yourstore.com/products/linen-shirt. Links that include a collection, a variant or a market prefix such as /en-ca/ also work, and so do myshopify.com addresses. Some stores do not let other sites read their product data, for example stores with a custom front end or a password page. Then the tool asks you for the photos and the text instead.
Can I choose the style of the video?
Yes. There are three styles: Studio (clean and bright, best for product shots on a white background), Lifestyle (warm sunset colours with magazine type) and Social (bold captions, like a creator's post). You can switch between them at any time, and your product and edits stay.
Does it work with one photo?
Yes. The video uses three photo slots, and each one shows a different framing. When a product has fewer than three photos, the tool uses the first photo again. Square and portrait photos work best, and product shots on a white background look clean.
What happens to my product data?
Your browser reads the product from the store. Our server never visits the link you paste. The photos are uploaded only when you press render, and they are deleted after 7 days. The download link also expires after 7 days, so save the file.
What size is the video?
1080x1920 pixels (9:16), 15 seconds, 30 frames per second, MP4 with music. That fits Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Stories, and you can also add it to the product page itself.
Can I make videos for my whole catalog?
Yes, with a free account. The same 15-second video costs 0.25 credit, because renders are billed by the second, so the 5 starting credits make about 20 videos. For a whole catalog, the Renderly API or the Zapier integration renders one video per product from a feed.
Can I change the design?
In the free tool you change the text, the prices and the photos. With an account, the same video opens in the editor, where you can change every layer, font, colour and timing, and keep the project for the next product.
Is there an AI version?
