Product Hunt Launch - Browser Extension
A 22-second 16:9 launch video for anything that overlays a host page - a browser extension, a bookmarklet, an overlay SDK - where the whole pitch is that the product appears inside a page the viewer already recognises. Five scenes on a slate and paper rhythm with an electric yellow accent, cut by five ground wipes rather than dissolves. The second beat is the one that sells it: a host page fills the frame and the product's popup slides in over it, so the viewer sees the product in its real context instead of in a screenshot of its own UI. Then one click to install, a shelf of everything saved across sites, and the launch ask. Twelve dynamic fields: logo, product_name, tagline, three captures (screenshot_1, screenshot_2, screenshot_3), three one-line feature claims (feature_1, feature_2, feature_3), store_line, launch_line and cta_line. store_line is the field this template adds that the others do not have - the install button on scenes 03 and 05, sized for wording like "Add to Chrome - free". Two notes on the images: screenshot_2 is the capture that sits behind white type on scene 03, so it wants to be a dark screenshot, and screenshot_1 is the host page the popup lands on rather than a picture of the product itself. Eleven dynamic fields swap per render: logo, product_name, tagline, three 16:9 captures (screenshot_1, screenshot_2 and screenshot_3, each reused across two scenes at different crops), three one-line feature claims (feature_1, feature_2, feature_3), launch_line and cta_line. launch_line is the only Product Hunt specific element in the whole template - leave it empty and the orange pill disappears, turning the same render into a generic we-shipped video for X, LinkedIn, a landing page or a mailer. cta_line is passed preformatted so the user types their own URL and wording. Attribution appears once, small, on the closing frame.
