What do I need to make the browser extension video?
Anything that overlays a host page - an extension, a bookmarklet, an overlay SDK. Bring a capture of a page you sit on top of, and a dark one for the third scene. A logo is optional - clear the field and the layout closes up around it.
Is there a watermark over the video?
No. The footage is clean. There is a small 'Made with renderly.video' credit on the final frame, and it stays - that credit is the only thing we get back from a tool that costs us a render and asks you for nothing, so it is what keeps this free.
Why does the preview here look less smooth than the example?
The preview runs the video live in your browser, so it depends on your machine. The file you download is rendered on our servers at full quality and is always smooth - the example video on the previous page is a real render from this same template.
Can I use it outside Product Hunt?
Yes. Press Remove next to the launch line and the orange Product Hunt badge comes out of the video, leaving a general-purpose launch video for X, LinkedIn, a landing page or an email. Everything else stays as it is.
How long does the download link last?
