What do I need to make the typographic video?
A product with nothing pretty to show yet, or one whose value is easier to say than to picture. No screenshots at all: a logo, a name, a tagline and three short lines are the whole input.
Is there a watermark over the video?
No. The footage is clean. There is a small 'Made with renderly.video' credit on the final frame, and it stays - that credit is the only thing we get back from a tool that costs us a render and asks you for nothing, so it is what keeps this free.
Why does the preview here look less smooth than the example?
The preview runs the video live in your browser, so it depends on your machine. The file you download is rendered on our servers at full quality and is always smooth - the example video on the previous page is a real render from this same template.
Can I use it outside Product Hunt?
Yes. Clear the launch line and the orange Product Hunt badge disappears with it, leaving a general-purpose launch video for X, LinkedIn, a landing page or an email.
How long does the download link last?
Seven days. Download it and keep your own copy rather than linking to ours.
